Avoid This Property – Unsafe, Misrepresented, and Poorly Managed
Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and frustrating, made worse by the gap between what was advertised and what we actually experienced. Despite paying a premium rate, the quality and condition of the rental fell far below expectations and posed genuine safety and hygiene concerns.The issues included feces smeared on the backyard fence and a dirty diaper by the outdoor dining area; unsafe furniture (of the 4 kitchen chairs, 2 were completely broken and abandoned outside in stagnant water, with the other 2 dangerously unstable due to poor installation); and a flooding shower poorly installed at an unusable angle. The "fully equipped kitchen" was so barebones it couldn't be used—only two cups for 8 people, no sink plug or washbasin, no dishwasher despite the listing details. We were left to deal with these issues entirely on our own—spending additional time and money on basic necessities that should have been provided.Regal Stay, the property manager, responded to every concern with a copy-paste message and took no action. We contacted both VRBO and the "owner" and received no help. We also had to pay a deposit and were repeatedly warned not to damage the property—ironic, given the state it was in.Avoid this rental. It’s overpriced, misrepresented, and poorly managed. The lack of transparency, safety, and basic amenities made our stay stressful and far from the relaxing experience we had hoped for, especially at this price point.
