"Seriously outdated. My units coffee table was falling apart. The TV power cord kept falling out. Outlets didn’t hold phone charger. Carpet is ancient and rippled (needs stretching). Friends unit smelled musty. (They’ve been vacationing here for over 30 years and the couch is the same couch from the 1st time they visited. Same unit every year and told it’d be upgraded but hasn’t.) Location is great and everything was very clean. "

"The property is beautiful and serene. The home was inviting and comfortable. We all had something we enjoyed in the house. I enjoyed the screened in porch, my husband enjoyed the comfortable bed. Our grandson loved the foosball table and the games. Our little one loved going up and down the stairs. My daughter enjoyed the tranquility, her children in a quiet setting and the dogs loved sitting out on the deck and looking down at the yard. Oh, driving on the beach was an experience none of us had...

"-The house was not cleaned at all before our arrival: dirty sheets, hair, tooth brush spit on mirrors. etc. however, it is in a beautiful spot and property managing company was responsive. While they were responsive we are still waiting on them to remedy their mistake as we paid for clean linens and cleaning fee. "

"This was a great location for our young family! Lunch and nap time was easy as the short walk to and from the beach was so short. Our area of the beach was less crowded as well."

"Our stay was over and above all expectations! The house gave off positive energy and the surroundings are breathtaking. It was spacious and cozy. We especially loved that all of us were able to gather for cooking and sharing meals around the big table with plenty of seating space. From the sunrise to greet you, the majestic horses, the beautiful ocean with dolphins swimming by and the amazing sunsets to end the day. We all had the time of our lives and can’t wait to enjoy another fabulous...

"We came to NC to see the Outter banks. This was a great location to be able to travel up and down the Outter banks. The room was perfect for us and accommodated our needs. The Hosts recommendation to eat at The Jolly Roger in Kill Devil Hills was a great suggestion. This place has an amazing menu"

"This is a beautiful location. I was hoping for a better view of the ocean from the cabana, but it's a quick walk to get there. Be sure to read the entire message in VRBO - there's lots of information that slipped by me because I skimmed - my bad! Loved the few days we were there even with once full day of rain."

"The house was clean, cozy, well organized and convenient for everything we needed. We were so comfortable, the only thing we went out to buy was ice cream. The neighborhood was perfect - far enough from the main highway that we didn’t hear any kind of traffic or disturbances, but still only a few minutes from the beach. The jacuzzi and grill were the cherry on top. We loved our stay and definitely plan to return!"

"The location and VRBO were excellent"

"Located on the southern side of Nags Head and right across from the beach with a shared boardwalk with another property they rent. Super easy to cross the road and be on the beach quickly. Also right across the street is the multi use path so perfect if you wanted to bring bikes or go for a walk. We did bike a few times down to the piers that were nearby. Was a very quiet area with the heart of nags head and kill devil hills close by as well. Many restaurants, shopping etc. The cottage itself...

"Have stayed in several places in Carova, this is one of our favorites. The house was very clean and had ample space and amenities. Communication from the owner was great. Plenty of privacy and is on the south side of Carova, so it's closer to the 4x4 access. Would stay here again."

"The place was very clean and was a great location. You can walk right to the beach and even to a few good restaurants. The host was very nice and checked on us. It is very intimate seeing as it is all one room but it was perfect for me and my husband. "
