"We stayed here over 4th of July weekend. The location is excellent, the room was clean (maybe a tiny bit antiquey smelling), the staff was perfectly lovely, and we enjoyed the grounds and large room. They offered vouchers for two local breakfast diners, as they don’t currently have a chef on staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

"Very clean hallways, rooms, and general sitting areas. The breakfast was organized and had a variety of items, with a changing menu. The server was always friendly. Can't beat the location to the beach!"

"This place is properly named. We have stayed here a few years ago and often reminisce about the scenery and peacefullness. We like to walk and with the newest boardwalk extensions all that came to fruition. Location and scenic value is a DREAM!"

"It was relatively clean, the AC worked well, and the wifi worked well, too. There are a lot of palmetto bugs around the property, which is likely the "roaches" other people mention. They did not come inside though. Shower was too small to comfortably use, and was a bit run down and old. Parking lot is rough, and it floods when it rains hard, making part of it unusable to small cars. Staff generally seemed nice and got me more towels when I asked for them. Beds were comfortable and sheets...

"This is a small, family owned establishment. The owner works and lives on site and is very helpful and kind. They have contactless check in, which was very cool, especially for someone who likes to get in, drop your bags and go explore or start work like myself :) 10/10 Will stay here anytime I come back to the outter banks."
