"Property is in a very good position over looking the Solent and walkable to Southsea or Portsmouth. Had everything we needed and particularly enjoyed the roof garden"

"We had a lovely double room with a sofa bed for our boys. The room was spacious with a lovely ensuite. Breakfast was delicious and included gluten free options. A nice climbing frame/ slide in the garden. Friendly staff."

"Haven Hall was all we hoped it would be and more. Every need was taken care of with exceptional detail. We would love to visit again some time. "

"We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again."

"Steve was really friendly and helped us find a nice place for dinner and breakfast. Kindly sorted a parking space on the property as I think it was a quiet night. But there’s also a huge car park on the other side of the building. More to do at the property than we realised. The communal area is brilliant. Don’t waste your money in the arcades as there’s loads to do at the hotel: pool, air hockey, table tennis, old school games table (pac man etc), sound system to choose your own music. Also...

"Spent one night here after visiting the Southampton Boat Show, perfect location and a short walk to the show entrance as well as to the high street. The double room was immaculate and modern. The bathroom was immaculate too with a large walk in shower and had thick fluffy towels. The room has tea/coffee facilities, bottled water and biscuits too. TV in the wall was clear. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Parking is limited to 5 cars on a first-come-first-served basis, but we were...

"Property is set back away from the road with trees and garden, very quiet , and relaxing . Jean is a lovely lady making us very welcome, plenty of knowledge of the local area. Room was very comfortable, patio tables outside to be able to sit and chill. We had a lovely breakfast in the granary chatting to Jean a lovely friendly lady. Would recommend ."

"Welcoming, hard working and professional staff. W enjoyed a sea view room with a balcony. We were able to check in early and shown to the room. Local maps, guides and bus time tables were available. The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent. This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. It is not The Ritz, nor does it pretend to be and offers a great location and reasonable prices. The breakfast was substantial, although we would have preferred a few...

"We were really pleasantly surprised with our stay. The Hotel was really clean, well laid out, the room was so spacious with a fantastic sized bathroom and coffee facilities. Anthony and Emily were fantastic, very polite and fun to be around. Everything about our short stay was fantastic and I would definitely come back and recommend :)"

"Arrived early in the morning after a international flight..naturally our room was not ready because checkin is at 3...we sat for two hours and noticed other people were checking in w/o a problem so I asked if our room was unavailable because we only had a cozy double..a lady finally said let me check..she was kind and even upgraded our room to more of a kitchenette...very comfortable..everyone was so nice"
