"Our stay at the Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront was extremely disappointing, and we checked out after only one night because we did not feel comfortable or safe remaining at the property. The atmosphere was chaotic, noisy, and poorly controlled. There were several disruptive guests, and the hotel was nothing like the peaceful oceanfront experience we expected. There also appeared to be several dogs staying on our floor. My wife is terrified of dogs, and the frequent barking from nearby rooms...

"On our trip to the area, our family with 2 seniors and 2 adult children stayed in 3 hotels. Spark by Hilton Norfolk has by far the softest and most comfortable beds. We actually all slept through the night, and the temperature in the room was just right. It is located near the Premium Outlet. We happened to need shoes/boots for a wedding/pony swim in Chincoteague. We ended going to the Outlet twice and got what we needed cheaply."

"Check in was easy and the staff was very welcoming. Our view was immaculate and both the room were clean. There is definitely a need for some renovations. The carpets were dingy and tattered and a chair in our one room was stained and moldy so we removed it. One of the lamps also had mildew on it so we put it on the patio. Although both bathrooms looked very nice, but the one obviously had some unrepaired plumbing issues. But again, small things. The location was perfect, loved the coffee,...

"The location of this hotel was wonderful and the staff all were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were dingy and the walls were not sound insulated to the point that I could hear conversations in the next room along with people’s alarms. Also the sheets had stains and the beds were very damp. Was overall very disappointed!"

"Was originally going to give 5 star review hotel was clean pool was clean rooms clean check in and check out was very quick but my last night the ac stopped working and they said no maintenance on duty and had to switch people around so no more rooms other than that it was good"

"The comfort was missing in Comfort Inn. Hot Friday night in July Stopping point on our trip to be able to rest and get up early and continue our trip. Air Conditioning only worked if you were walking around the room. Front desk was notified but nothing was done about it. Checked out early morning since sleep was very little. Front desk just smiled and shook their head as I was hoping for a better outcome."
