My recent stay at this property was disappointing and did not meet expected standards of cleanliness or professionalism. The shower curtain contained multiple holes, and there was visible dirt in several areas including the shower itself, around the handle, and in the corners of the bathroom. Such conditions are unacceptable for any guest room.
Additionally, our credit card was charged more than 60 days prior to arrival, despite the reservation clearly stating that payment would be collected at the hotel. This practice was both unexpected and concerning. The timing and nature of this action were especially troubling, as it appeared to coincide with an event with deep significance in African American culture taking place that weekend. This created the perception of unfair treatment and a lack of equitable service.
I strongly encourage hotel management to address these issues promptly ensuring that rooms are maintained to proper cleanliness standards and that billing practices remain transparent and consistent for all guests.
The front desk staff were prompt and courteous. Shuncia was very professional.
