"Just the right size for the 2 of us and our dog! We had a king size bed which was comfortable. It was a little chilly the first night and we didn’t know how to put the heat on in the living room. The bedroom had a thermostat but the comforter was plenty warm enough for hubby and I. Would definitely stay again "

"Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. "We were looking for a couple nights near Mt. Washington on our vacation to the northeast during the first part of June and stumbled across this hidden gem in Bretton Woods. This house in the private community sits at the bottom of a cul-de-sac right on the Ammonnoosuc River while still getting distant views of Mt. Washington and the northern presidential peaks. "It was the perfect getaway to block out the world, to slow it down for a moment in time. The fire pit along the babbling brook surrounded by Adirondack chairs, and a small table was a very welcomed ambiance as I watched the smoke from the fire pit roll on up with the breezes down the brook. I thoroughly enjoyed dipping and wiggling my toes in the water. It was cooling and refreshing. The amenities were straightforward and humble. No fuss, common sense of environment. Well done! "

"Check-in was contactless and easy, parking was plentiful on property, and house was clean/well stocked with games and kitchen equipment. Located close to many beautiful hikes and fun towns. Only negatives included the host’s requirement of a refundable security deposit, as well as supplemental insurance through VRBO, and the host’s requirement of laundering all towels prior to departure to avoid an additional 25 charge. Overall nice property and communicative hosts!"
