My daughter is afraid of elevators and the kind lady helped me unlock the stairs outside (unfortunately it was raining and staff member did get wet) so that I could walk our girl up to our room. "We enjoyed our stay! VERY convenient location, great staff. Stylish accommodation with nice lounge/bar. The room we got was in the "quiet" back part of the hotel and it was indeed quiet. The bed was very comfy. However the room was incredibly tiny--we couldn't fully open the door to the room because it hit the bed. A very thin amount of space on either side of the bed. But it was inexpensive, clean, comfy and well-situated. Overall had a good stay and would recommend. "

"Very good hotel in the city, very conveniently located just off the highway and without the need to get stuck in traffic. I arrived on a Sunday so I got to try the special Sunday Roast dining menu as well, very well portioned and nice restaurant setup. I also booked for the valet parking so it was really piece of cake checking in."

"Great location if in the Hutt and a tidy / clean site, inside and out."

"This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return."

"Great stay, always lovely staff and food and clean. Only small complaint is the tables in the room are not a good height to work at in an office desk capacity. I work from my room in between meetings and it can get uncomfortable. If there is a desk height table on request that would be amazing."
