"Likes: Room overlooked the beach and downtown, washer, dryer available in room with kitchenette & refrigerator, adjustable climate control. Room seems well insulated as I did not hear any noises out in the hallway or from guests in rooms nearby. Room service was available. Rooms were cleaned & re-stocked daily--a nice treat. Pool was great for keikis & exercise room was well maintained with a variety of equipment. The pool area is spacious, quiet, well maintained, & not overcrowded at any time...

"We had a wonderful one week stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful and love that they give you free water every day and coupons for free ice cream. The coffee shop is very convenient for morning coffee and breakfast. There are shops, and restaurants and you can just walk down to the Hilton lagoon for the fireworks or beach access. The only down the side was the escalator wasn’t working to get your luggage up the stairs, but you can take an out-of-the-way...

"This hotel is very convenient if you like shopping at Walmart, Sam’s Club, Don Quixote, and Ala Moana Shopping Center. All are within walking distance. However, there are renovations going on in the hotel making for long waits to get in the elevator. $5 breakfast is the best!"

"This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! "

"It is not the ilikai hotel I thought it was but it’s not it is right infront of it. Parking is attached which made it easy. Get the multi pass or whatever it’s called it will save you so much time that way you can scan and go in and out and pay at the end. Room was adorable. It served its purpose we were only there to change and sleep lol. But the TV did not work. Couldn’t open the door to balcony and lots of work going on around the place but it’s in the perfect location. You can walk...
