"The hotel was very lovely and all the staff were welcoming and courteous. I was able to obtain a room upgrade upon my arrival without any issues. My room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of items that accommodated western visitors. My favorite was the french toast. The location is situated in a quiet area of Kyoto in the Kamiygo Ward and about a 11-14 minute walk to the subway station but the hotel offers daily shuttle service to a main station...

"Family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). We absolutely love this place and would definitely recommend it to others. The hotel is located in front of the train station and a bus stop, which provides easy access to transportation. There is also a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel. They also have several restaurants located on the 2nd floor if you don't want to go out for lunch or dinner, not to mention the large public bath that comes with a sauna room and big hot tubs. The amenities here are the best...

"We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and reasonable size. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a quieter area of Kyoto, mostly accessible by bus or walking but just a little further away from tourist hotspots. The mini fridge was pretty useless as it wouldn’t get colder regardless of what setting we used, and the lobby didn’t have any coffee or snacks until 2:30pm unless you paid for breakfast. We would stay again."

"Prime location with few steps access to Kyoto Station where you can find a few tons of options for dining and shopping. The room was clean and breakfast buffet was good. Very friendly staff. 2 laundromats at the property available to use for guests. There was no need to add detergent and the room tv showed status of both to check availability."

"Very good. Smaller than I thought so best to look at the size of the room if it isn’t within expectation. But location and everything else is great. The bath pajamas was a nice bonus"

"This place is amazing. It truly made Kyoto that much better. Staff is extremely friendly, they will help with absolutely anything you need. We rented e-bikes every day while we were there which helped getting around town. If I ever come back to Kyoto, I will only be staying here."
