"The price is right. The property is not maintained well. It wouldn’t take much effort to improve it - tidy up and mow/weed wack. The staff was very nice and explained things well. The room was clean and the bathroom was remodeled. The air conditioner worked well. The town is a great place to find food, shops, and history - very quaint."

"The breakfast buffet was very good with great variety. I also liked pots of hot coffee in the lobby available all day. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of soundproofing between rooms. Perhaps it was because my room could be an adjoining room, but we could hear everything next door. Our neighbor called to complain about our tv volume, so I guess they could hear everything also."

"This nice motel by a lovely creek has great beds (not too hard, not too soft) and quality soaps and shampoos. Breakfast from 8 to 10am includes fresh strawberries and blueberries, oranges, apples, pears, and bananas, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins and toast. Coffee was good plus orange juice and milk were available. And if you are so inclined, fresh baked chip cookies were also available. Service was personal and friendly. "This place is amazing very unique Viking style and themed. surrounded by woods and hiking trails. They also have a special brand of sheep heard on the property. they did an exceptional job building and maintaining this place."

"I found it annoying that my internet connection was so complicated to set up. Other hotels just have a password code. Easy. I also could not watch any TV without having to join a streaming service. Other hotels offer this for free to watch cable. A manual or directive instructing clientele on paper/ laminated would be helpful as the older generation do not all have smart phones and are lost as we can’t view hotel instructions via phone. "Room very clean and beds extra comfortable. Lots of small decorating features for a motel and gardens on grounds were extra beautiful. Rooms themselves felt older but with new furnishings. Overall a comfortable stay."

"Rooms were clean and staff was helpful, however, atmosphere felt like Section 8 housing. Smoking was done right outside my room and I was watched constantly by people from their rooms. There were no cars in the parking lot, but many arguments there during daylight hours. Not a comfortable place overall."
