"The TRYP is in a very convenient location to the city center, the harbor, Te Papa museum, a larger grocery store, etc. Very convenient to use the airport bus to get there. Our room was quite spacious with a sitting area, new carpet, and had a small kitchenette, and the bathroom had a washer and dryer (which we didn't use as it was the beginning of our trip). Nice and quiet in the room. Not much in the way of breakfast but close by many cafe options. "

Dated interior but comfortable beds, spacious area, balcony for vaping/smoking - the flash hotel down the road is so small with no parking and no windows! "Very convenient location to tourist spots. Our mattress had blood stains on it and had no mattress protector on it sadly. Street parking; it seems like a lot of emergency housing on uphill streets, no issues with car on street however just not as enjoyable as other Ramada hotels. "
