"I always try and stay here when I’m in Wellington but wow the property is starting to age. Tiles coming away in the shower, damaged sinks, frayed bedding and damaged carpets at entryways and stains everywhere. It really needs an upgrade already. Not worth what they charge anymore even though the location is amazing and the overall vibe is still awesome. "

"While the room and the property was decent enough, the shower in the bathroom was filthy. We ended up scrubbing the walls of the shower ourselves, cleaning off layers of mold and mildew. We never had the chance to discuss it with the front desk as it is really tough to find anybody at the front desk anytime we walked through the lobby. Other than the shower the rest of the room seemed to be decent enough."

"Fantastic service and staff and great location. Our room was spacious and comfortable but we were not a fan of the bathroom situation. Clear glass doors that didn't shut properly, and the shower has curtains that didn't stop water from getting everywhere. We were also on the ground floor and got a bit of noise from the cafe. No parking at property, however managed to get a park at the Taranaki St Parking building the hotel suggested & walked everywhere we wanted to go. Eateries, shopping, Centertainment, Te Papa Museum, Parliament & the water front all within walking distance of Hotel. 2 bedroom apartment is what we paid for. Beds were comfortable & room clean. "Had a great two night stay celebrating my partners birthday. Dealt with a few members of staff via message prior to the stay and I really appreciated their prompt and clear responses. Special shoutout to Oliver who I dealt with over message and in person. He was on to it, delivered great customer service, made us feel welcome and ensured my parter had a special birthday!
