Welcome to our beautiful Journey's End North home, the ultimate Marco Island vacation retreat. Journey's End is a stunning, 5 bedroom+ 4 bath, 3400 sq ft home that will comfortably sleep 2 - 12, located in world renowned Marco Island. Journey's End is our large extended family's second home and given that many of us live in Miami, we are blessed to be able to spend a great deal of time there. We have elevated the home to the highest possible standards with respect to comfort, quality and range of amenities. Fully renovated and professionally decorated with the finest materials available. Our Journey's End North home features a spacious, fully equipped island kitchen with luxurious stainless steel appliances including a 32 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer with ice and water in the door, convection oven and a large over the range microwave. The counters are covered with an exotic quartz that adds a touch of natural beauty to this slice of paradise. We also provide items not usually found in the kitchen of a typical "rental home". We provide you with a coffee maker with the highest quality Colombian coffee, a plentiful supply of non dairy coffee creamer and two types of sweetener. You will also be glad to know that you won't need to purchase salt or pepper, herbs and spices, foil paper, foil trays, saran wrap or paper towels. Hungry? Use our Panini sandwich maker to prepare a delicious hot sandwich to satisfy the afternoon munchies or use our Belgian waffle maker to prepare fresh waffles in the morning. In the mood for a smoothie? Use our Ninja highspeed blender to whip up something delightful for you and your family.
On the main level, the large master bedroom is appointed with a king sized luxury bed, a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV and 700 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. We also have plentiful new pillows for those that need extras for their sleeping comfort. The floors are covered with a wood look plank and you'll be happy to see that there are two California style closets that will easily accommodate all of your clothing. This bedroom also boasts an opulent ensuite master bathroom, outfitted with a Carrera marble double sink vanity, a stand alone tub and a frameless glass enclosed Italian marble shower. Our master bath is stocked with multiple, thick, ultra soft towels along with a hair dryer. Step through the sliding doors onto our massive 2000 Sq Ft deck for a quick dip in the pool, or to sit under one of our two covered Pergolas. Picture yourself after a fun filled day enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset and it will be so. This main Master Suite has a special feature for those families ( like mine ) with small children or Grandchildren and is unique to our vacation home. Within the main Master suite is a private, separate much smaller bedroom with a bunk bed including a trundle bed for the little ones to sleep. This smaller bedroom has a TV, closet and a door to ensure that the little ones stay safely within their safe space while still affording Mom and Dad the privacy and peace of mind that they need for a restful vacation at Journey's End.
On the other side of our home's main level Master, we have a second Master Bedroom, also appointed with a luxury King mattress with 700 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, California style closets, wood look plank flooring and 65 inch Samsung Smart TV's. Within this second master suite is an ensuite bathroom with a double sink Carrera Marble vanity, and a frameless glass enclosed shower.
Also on the main level, adjacent to the kitchen are our living and dining rooms. The living room features a 75 inch Samsung Smart TV, two large leather reclining full size sofa's whose recliners open to a nearly flat position along with two comfortable oversized stuffed chairs providing seating for everyone. We have two separate dining areas for your comfort and pleasure. The main dining area features a 6 seat dining table that is lighted by a large crystal chandelier. We also have a large 10 seat island in the Kitchen area surrounded by large windows on three sides affording you an 180 degree view of our incredible water views. This custom designed island features a large Quartz topped counter height Island that seats ten comfortably.
One floor up, are two additional bedrooms with king beds, 55 in Samsung smart TV's, 700 thread count sheets. Outside the two bedrooms through the new impact sliding doors is a large balcony with comfortable seating.
The fun does not end upstairs!. On the first floor lower level you will discover our laundry area consisting of a Samsung High Efficiency front load washer and Samsung dryer.
Adjacent to our laundry area is our beautiful recreation room with a custom designed regulation sized pool table, dart board, pub table with 3 stools, a 50 inch Samsung Smart TV and a queen sized sleeper sofa. The pool table also has a convertible top that allows it to be transformed into a regulation ping pong table. Next to our recreation room, is another full bathroom with a glass enclosed Italian marble shower.
On our over 2000 sq ft elevated, waterfront pool deck, you will find two cushioned lounge chairs outside of one of our Masters, two large covered pergolas each with seating for 5-6, a 4 seat pub table, a 6 seat dining table with an 11 foot cantelevered umbrella to provide shade next to the Island kitchen, 6 lounge chairs with 3 large umbrellas and two storage benches containing pool floats and toys.
Given that we have over 190 feet of water frontage due to our exclusive cul de sac location, we have optimized the use of the space that this incredible location affords us. Just outside of the pool area, adjacent to our extra wide waterway, we have two additional seating areas, one over the water on our dock with 4 adirondack chairs, a custom made bench and the other with two adirondack chairs. Adjacent to the 2 adirondack chairs we have a very unique private mini beach area overlooking the widest part of our waterway with umbrellas and small end tables to set your drinks on. Next to the adirondack chairs we have the childrens play area. Families with children will be delighted to find a full sized Cedar playground set, with swings, slide and a fort positioned on high end rubber mulch to protect the little ones. We also built a custom sand castle building area for the little ones where our Grandchildren have spent countless happy hours making sandcastles with the provided toys.
Also, on that side of our home, you will find our 4 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards along with our 6 bike storage area. On the side of the bike storage shelter, is our beach storage with beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, vests for the kayaks/paddle boards and a cart for the beach.
On the opposite side from the Childrens play area, we have a play area for our very appreciated adult guests. There we have a professionally installed 5 hole putting green with putters, pitching wedges and balls provided, a Bocce Ball court and two artificial grass 3ft by 3 ft squares that serve multiple purposes ( about 30 ft apart ). The one closest to the putting green serves as the chipping area for the putting green, We also provide a corn hole set and horse shoes which is the other purpose for the two grass squares.
