"The room was nice, clean and updated - breakfast was a nice touch. But this hotel is incredibly loud. We stayed 5 nights and every single night we battled with excessive noise, doors slamming, loud hallways etc. I understand the staff have little control over its guests, but there was no effort made. We have young children and our stay was exhausting due to the excessive noise and disrespect of others. One other note is the elevator - there’s only one and it’s very slow, and always packed....

"It's a B&B that only offers breakfast on the weekends...maybe. The hot tub and the cottage being separate was nice. But based on what you get for your stay, I dont feel like the value is there at the current price point"

"The guest house at Spinnakers is a unique experience. You can't beat the location and the view from our room was amazing. Our suite was very roomy and included a Jacuzzi tub. That said, the property could use some TLC and the mattress on the bed has seen better days. Overall recommended though. "

"If you want a really unique stay in Victoria, Hotel Zed is it! It's only a 25 minute walk from downtown Victoria and has tons of great dining options within walking distance. The King room was clean and straight out of the 70's - a cute velvet green sofa, lounge chair, small dining table and mini fridge. I loved the green "stained glass" wall divider/closet. The pool, hot tub and sauna were all great, and the waterslide was a fun bonus! "Grandmas Basement" on the bottom floor of reception...

"I love the breafast at Huntington Hotel. The buffet style allows you to get started right away and the food is always hot and fresh. The staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly. The hotel's proximity to downtown is perfect. You can walk 12 minutes and be in Bastion square or Chinatown. "
