"Howie & Karen were tremendous hosts and made my family and I feel extremely welcomed! They were even super cool with accomadating last minute changes to my booking. My two boys had a blast and they were surprised with an amazing breakfast the morning after! We enjoyed our time so much that we’re planning to re-book for next year around the same time! "Beautiful property! The pool area, gardens and views are amazing. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The only downside we experienced was the pool area is small compared the number of guests the hotel accommodates, so if the pool area was busy there was a line to get a lounger or a seat which was a bit disappointing."

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria. Was not able to take advantage of the breakfast unfortunately, but the menu looked delicious!"

"The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view.
The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now.
For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home.
I won’t return"

"Nice, new hotel. Rooms were spacious. We had a king suite and double queen suite. The queen suite was very large was perfect for everyone to gather in. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Seemed like the kitchen had good basic - didn’t use anything other than the toaster. Location was great, very close to Dt. Sydney. Would recommend staying here."

"We stayed in Room 114 on June 2, 2026 for one night. Room was clean and easily accessible. Laundry services were great after a week on Vancouver Island! Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is the A/C stopped working after being in the room for about 3 hours. The “filter” indicator light came on. Which was fine. It wasn’t that hot out at night and the fan on the A/C worked just fine. Close to the airport and ferry terminal. And the restaurant on the property was great. Hotel guests...
