"Für eine Nacht am Flughafen war das Zimmer und das Hotel in Ordnung. Leider kam die Vorab E-Mail nur auf English (kein Hinweis, das deutsch nach 3 Seiten detaillierten englischen Anreiseinformationen noch kommt) und die Kosten für das Busticket mit den Öffentlichen wurden mit 1,90 Euro angegeben, was aber auch nicht stimmte. Diese betragen inzwischen 2,10 Euro, was deswegen ärgerlich war, weil wir (für 3 Personen) 6 Euro passend hatten, aber eben 30 Cent fehlten, die wir nach vier Wochen...

"Wir waren schon häufiger in dem Hotel und sehr zufrieden. Die Sauberkeit hat aber stark nachgelassen, was wahrscheinlich dem Umstand geschuldet ist, dass keine Zimmerreinigung mehr zwischendurch stattfindet. Unser Zimmer hat sehr muffig gerochen. Wenn man tagsüber nicht im Hotel ist, um Reinigungspersonal auf den Fluren zu suchen, wird es schwierig, an Toilettenpapier oder frische Handtücher zu kommen. Wir werden nicht wieder dort buchen."

"Platzl Hotel was a good choice for our party of four on holiday. One of its greatest assets is its location. The property needs a refresh, and amenities like electrical outlets at bedside need to be installed. The multi-lingual staff were friendly without fawning. The little bar and cafe at the front of the building has a very limited menu. The associated high-end restaurant was excellent."

"The room was clean and spacious, and the location was great. HOWEVER, the hotel only has 1 tiny elevator, which forces you to take the stairs unless you're willing to wait for a while. The rooftop is loud and smokey. If you're a nonsmoker, this is not a pleasant space to grab a drink. The hotel serves breakfast, but it is 20 Euros per person unless you made sure to include it in your reservation. More importantly, the variety of items is relatively limited. "The hotel is nice with a spacious lobby and breakfast area and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was good with a variety of selections and was replenished. The sparkling water and fruit-infused water were nice touches. The staff was professional and helpful and the rooms were kept clean. Wifi was good in room and in public areas. There was no screen mirroring available to connect cellphone to TV for streaming. The hotel is some distance away from the city centre so we got around with the hotel...

"Ideale Lage nahe am Bahnhof. Das Zimmer ist groß sauber, das Bett groß und bequem. Kaffee gibt es jederzeit kostenlos in der Lobby. Das Frühstück war sehr gut! Mehr Auswahl als erwartet. Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas eng, aber das ist nicht schlimm. Zimmer war ruhig, trotz Baustelle gegenüber. "

"The location of the property is within walking distance to many of Munich's cultural attractions which was a plus. However, the property is quite dated and the room I was assigned had shag carpeting. The shower was also quite small and not sure how a large person would be able to access it in such a small space.
