"This hotel is close to rail station. There are restaurants nearby.
There seemed to be an issue with rubish collection as there were lots of bags of trash in front on many of the properties. However, the hotel, itself, and it's property were clean.
I really enjoyed the friendly staff. My room was a nice comfortable size. And, the property was quiet; I was able to get good sleep after touring the city. "

"We have just arrived home from our stay in Cardiff. We chose the Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay because of its location and we are extremely pleased that we did. Choosing a hotel can be a bit of a lottery and we certainty got the jackpot. This is a modern building located not far from Cardiff bay, about a fifteen minute walk to the bay itself with restaurants and some shops. On arrival our reception was warm and welcoming. "We stayed in one of the balcony rooms and the room was legit the best room we have stayed in the UK. The bed was a dream, super duper huge and the view from the balcony was magnificent. Their breakfast spread was delicious, the only downside of the stay were the cocktails from the Vale bar, I think they could do better with that. Apart from that, it was a 5/5."
