"The rooms and staff are amazing, so I plan on staying here again. The bathtubs with fizzy bubbles are kind of a gimmick, especially if you are used to strong jacuzzi’s. Really liked the room delivered breakfast (breakfast in bed!), but the “Western” breakfast has a strong Japanese influence to it. "

"Laundry service would be better if have in the room. Wait too long to use it in the evening/nighttime. Also, the dryer is not efficient in drying the clothes & the laundry room is too stuffy/hot (no ventilation). Other than that, the room is very nice & spacious. We appreciate the free water bottles, drinks (juices, beers), snacks, tea bags & coffee pods), tea kettle, coffee maker & other amenities."

"Hotel is in a great central location! Close by to Pontocho, Gion and train station. The canal next to the hotel was so beautiful with cherry blossoms and willow trees. Comfy beds and cozy rooms. The breakfast buffet was good also. Note that the hotel's restaurant closes by 3 pm. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"
