"Gion Elite Terrace is a great homebase in Kyoto. The hotel is clean, the rooms are incredibly well designed, with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and more. The only downside (which is a larger issue with Kyoto in general) is that the property does not have much authentic Japanese charm or feel because it is largely (75%+) American tourists and staff are perfectly bilingual (a plus, but also a bit disorienting). If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese experience then this likely isn’t...

"This little slice of heaven has picked in an alley was absolutely delightful! The staff were very friendly and helpful the entire time. The room was very spacious for a room that had to accommodate a family of four. The location is actually quite convenient as well. Close to shopping, groceries, and the train system. 10/10 recommend!"

"Great property. Our room was spacious with all of the amenities and supplies available at no extra charge. The front desk concierge staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. We had a great experience and would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Kyoto. Highly recommend!"

"Alles super. Eine empfehlenswerte Anlage, sofern man mit Straßenlärm gut leben kann. Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten der Waschmaschine wären interessant.
