"Truly, a top notch, Kyoto hotel. Great combination of convenient location walkable from Metro station even with light luggage. One of the best buffet breakfasts during two Japan trips, not worthy fresh seafood. Very nice unseen with multiple pools and quality body products. Room is small, but adequate. ..."

"Apparantly Expedia doesn't tell us that there is a room tax, payable in cash, once you arrive at the hotel. So, that was a bit of a surprise. Also, we arrived early and the girl at the front desk just told us to put our bags to the side, didn't show much interest in helping us, or being friendly. ..."

"Great, cozy hotel for families. Decent space for a family of 4-5 and close to major attractions. Only thing we didn't like is that the smoking area was right in front of the elevators. It would have been nice if they had a different designated area."
