"Room is relatively small but the condition is good"

"Clean room, close to amenities. Room downstairs to relax with coffee and water. Game in this area was noisy when used and disturbed the ambiance of the room. Only downside was wash/dry machine stinks- clothes never dried, barrel of machine full of water. Laundry nearby was used."

"First time staying at this hotel when visiting Kyoto and I can say it's ruined me for other hotels in the area. It's in a great location, not to far from Kyoto Station. Breakfast and dining options are amazing, the cafe is great for pastries and quick bites throughout the day, the rooms are amazing especially the large King Size beds. There's even a gym and laundry on site which doesn't require cash. The surrounding neighborhood is great when plenty of restaurants, peaceful outdoor options, and...

"The exterior and the lobby area of the hotel were beautiful. Some of the walls were a bit dated. I.e. there seemed to be some kind of a small water leak in the hall. The room itself was large with a good size bathroom and free slippers and robes and small refrigerator and the kettle. Everything in the room was quite clean and there was a very nice breakfast buffet for free. Excellent price for the room and quite close to the shopping areas."

"Clean rooms. Hotel lobby is directly below Kintetsu Kyoto railway station, making it very convenient."

"The entire room and lobby were immaculately clean and neat. The bathroom in the room is fantastic, with spare compartments for sink, toilet, and shower/bath. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful."

"お部屋はベッドの配置が工夫され広く使えるようになっていた点がよかったです。古めの作りですが、バスタブが広く使いやすかったです。 夜中40分くらい近くのお部屋のご家族が部屋と廊下を行き来し、ドアをバタバタしたり、大声で話したりしていたので、その間は不安でゆっくりできませんでした。中国語のような言語で何を言っているのかわからず怖かったです。フロントにお電話した位から落ち着いたので、助かりました。 朝食はとてもおいしかったです。 冷房の故障という紙がありましたが、一定の室温管理はなされていたので、不自由はなかったです。 立地がよくとても良いホテルでした。"

"Attractive hotel located right next to the train station. There is so much to do (shop!) with in walking distance of the hotel, as well as an easy train ride to nearby places. The rooms were a good size and I enjoyed the separate shower/tub bath for soaking after a long day walking. The room fridge is nice to keep snacks and water cold. We found our favorite tonkatsu curry and ramen (not in station) near by! The staff were all nice and helpful as well. I recommend this hotel!"

This hotel is located on a quiet Kyoto street in a traditional row house building that preserves the look and feel of a different era in Kyoto. The inside of the hotel is beautiful and the staff was very nice to deal with. The beds were super comfortable."
