"All-around high value hotel. The check-in was smooth. I thought free parking was not included in the busy coconut grove area. But it turns out that the garage access was included with the room key card (with Expedia package at least). The location is perfect. Easy access to most of Miami. Lots of things to do in the nearby shopping plaza. But the part I enjoyed the most is the walking along the peacock park and the bay every morning and night. "Excellent location and within walking distance to the waterfront where we were attending the Montreaux Jazz Festival Miami. Coconut Grove had so many shops and restaurants we never had to drive anywhere to find excellent dining and coffee shops. Check in was slow and they could have used more front desk staff. Otherwise, the hotel was lovely and just what we needed for our long weekend stay to celebrate our 40th anniversary."

It added an extra $80+ on to our one night stay which left a sour taste in our mouths. "This is a residential building turned hotel, don’t expect the vacation resort vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive. 409 room is two queen bed with balcony and view to another building and the street. It has a defective bathroom which leaks water outside while using the shower. On site restaurant is ok closes early. This is a valet only hotel, no onsite parking but you can either request a free ride within 2 mile radius which was convenient or request your vehicle, they are very expedious...
