Sit, rock, and sip your favorite drink on our 2 porches. Historic Springfield house is perfect for families or professionals visiting or relocating to the Jacksonville area. Our pet-friendly 3 bedrooms / 2.5 bathrooms tastefully decorated and furnished will make you feel cozy and at home. A fully fenced yard is perfect for furry visitors too. We have a front porch with rocking chairs and a back porch with a picnic table and bbq grill. We are walking/ biking distance of many unique breweries, restaurants, and parks. Historic Springfield is up n coming Jacksonville area that is famous for its unique historic architecture. People love walking and biking around and hanging out on their porches. You will be stunned by the southern old charm only 5 min close to downtown Riverside or San Marcos and 20 min to Jacksonville Beaches.
Beautiful furnished historic bungalow was built in 1908 and fully remodeled. Enjoy cooking at fully equipped kitchen, free use of washer/ dryer and it is 2.5 bathrooms
Our home can sleep max 6 people. No I authorized overnight guests are allowed to stay unless added to reservation
We have smart outdoor cameras for security , smart keyless door lock to enter the house. The smart thermostat will keep the house temperature at cool even if you leave the property. Temperature can be adjusted by the guests.
We love pets and allow max 2 smaller dogs or 2 cats if booked on the reservation. Unfortunately No German Sheppards, Pitbulls, Akitas, Stafford Terriers Doberman, Great Danes or Rotweilers can be accommodated due to our insurance policy. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by the pets. Any pet that is not potty trained should be left alone at the house in the crate.
Our home is at historic Springfield. It is up n coming area with many beautiful old historic homes. Some homes in area still need to be fixed up or you can see few that are abandoned. But the neighbors are very involved with revitalization and beautification. Many local artists and entrepreneurs live in the area including our next-door neighbor - very talented mural artist.
We have a security systems and cameras in the front and back of the house for our property and our guests enhanced security. Our cameras are recording devices that turn on when movement detected at front and back entrance. We have also door / windows monitoring system active too please always keep them locked. You will hear beeping sound when doors/2”windows open.
Historic Springfield has been changing quickly so you may notice sometimes a noise of nearby constructions. You are close to downtown and although our street is generally pretty quite our home is right across from the school and it gets busy during school months drop off /pick up hours - only for about an hour.
