Peaceful quiet older 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home for a relaxing stay in a central location with close access to I-220 and I-55. High Speed internet. Home is clean & updated with all needed amenities for short or long-term stay. A large yard, spacious interior, and 60s accents like wood paneling and a golden yellow tub highlight this Jackson rental is an older home so expect some character (scratches) on the older items should as countertops and tubs. Property is less than 9 miles from downtown and tons of outdoor activities. Explore the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, catch minor league baseball at Trustmark Park, or enjoy scenic sites and boating at the Ross R Barnett Reservoir. Close to restaurants, colleges, hospitals, banks and shopping. End a day of fun grilling on the patio. Whether you are here in Jackson for a visit or business, our peaceful cozy home is the place to be. Enjoy your stay!

You will need a vehicle to get around this area. The location is accessible to major roads and streets. I-55 as well as I 220 is just a few minutes away. You can travel to US 49 North via I-220 to go to Yazoo city or continue on I-220 to Clinton or Vicksburg. Get on I-55 to go to downtown Jackson and you connect to I-20 East or West as well as US 49 South to Hattiesburg.

The home was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. The place is clean and generally well maintained. WIFI was excellent. The owner had to deal with late departure of previous guests and left the place in disarray. She worked hard to get the home ready for late check in. When we arrived the home was ready for us and everything worked well.

We have stayed here a few times while in town for All American youth barrel race.Nice quiet place in decent neighborhood, house is always clean and perfect for what we want it for.Owner has always been in contact with anything we need or they had to go go on.I would recommend this place to anyone

First, a note about the one item I did note rate as 5-stars. I gave 4 stars for the check-in process because the key box was VERY difficult to open, and the alarm was difficult to turn off. After that, this place was perfect for our group of adult cousins. There was room to sit around and visit, and a nice dining room table for eating together. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, coffee, and various tea bags. There were two TV viewing areas. The master bedroom was spacious, with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The toilet and tub were in a room with a door and there was a large vanity and sink open to the room. The two other bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with a queen) shared the hall bath, which also had a door to close on the toilet/tub area, and a nice separate vanity and sink. The beds were very comfortable with pillowtop mattresses. The smoke alarm in one of the bedrooms started chirping on the first night, but the host had thoughtfully provided replacement batteries in a kitchen drawer. We were grateful for the two-car garage where we could pull in and close the garage door for loading and unloading; it made us feel safe getting in and out of the car. The neighborhood is well-established and very quiet. We felt very safe. The host was very prompt with responding to our messages through the Vrbo app, and helpful with our requests. We would definitely stay here again.

Lynda was attentive and accurate with her convenient and accessible book of rules and instructions! The home was just that! A home away from home. The kitchen was complete with every utensils and pan needed. There were even some spices! The bedrooms had extra pillows, extra blankets and comfy beds. Both bathrooms had more than enough towels. We would definitely stay there again and hope to in the near future. Felicia Jovais

There was a constant strong mildew odor…I went to Walmart and bought some air fresheners, and poured bleach down the kitchen drain/sink which also had a pungent odor…otherwise it served its purpose. Also I was asked if it was okay for someone to come and change something at the house that I didn’t request during my stay. To whomever is reading this and is managing properties should not bother the guest for something that could have been done before or after the guest arrived or departed their stay.. The listing should include that there are 4 entries to this property from the outside

Nice and clean place,neighborhood is very quiet.We stayed here last year also and enjoyed it.We came for rodeo and needed a place to stay besides hotel and this place was perfect for us and the fenced in backyard for the dog.

Convenient location, close to interstate, easy to find (high school at the end of the street). Quiet neighborhood. Attached, secure garage parking and driveway for additional vehicles. Very clean house. No stairs. Plenty of linens, kitchenware, complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, dried creamer. Even had some water bottles left for us upon arrival. A few bags of chips, granola bars on the kitchen table. The lock from the garage into the houses is a bit tricky but if you are familiar with the pulldown key boxes within a box you should be okay. There is a large backyard. No one up close to you in back. Beds were clean and comfortable. We were very appreciative of Lynda's prompt response to any inquiries. Needed 3 separate bedrooms and it worked out just great. No TV in bedrooms but there are two large TVs in the house. One in family room and one in living room. Worked fine for us. Would stay there again if needed. Very happy with our stay!
