"Ryokan Plan in Odawara is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating, explaining everything clearly about the rooms and the stay. The building itself is over 100 years old, which gives it a really special atmosphere. We stayed in a Japanese Style Room and honestly couldn’t recommend it more – it was such a unique experience, even though we only spent one night there. The location is also great, just about 10 minutes from the station and close to Odawara...

"The room was nice although our “garden” view was just a tiny patch of grass and some rocks. The service was excellent at this hotel. The onsen was nice although there wasn’t an outdoor area, just a large rectangular pool. Very nice Kaiseki dinner served in the room. "

The private Onsen is the best I have ever had the pleasure of using (it is 1000% worth the surcharge) The only issues I had with my stay were some inconsistencies with the online posting and the english room instructions they appeared a little out of date (for example they both listed a dinner that was not available for our stay)"

"My room was absolutely stunning. Cleanliness 10/10. Check in was a breeze. The room was so spacious the outdoor patio had a footbath, grass area, bbq and outside table. The room was equipped with absolutely every single thing you needed, it even had a telescope! The best thing was the fully equipped kitchen and the beautiful private onsen with a big window that opens up to the backyard. Privacy is 10/10. It’s also 10 minutes car ride to the Hakone Open Air Museum and a 7/11. 100/10 experience at...
