"Such a lovely place to stay."

"Disappointed with the food, it was ok but a bit undercooked, some items missing, and service was a bit slow. The food used to be amazing here, the ingredients still seemed high quality but the preparation and taste wasn't as good as it used to be. The main disappointment was that the rules of the spa have changed and we were unaware we had to book the spa and could only attend at certain times which wouldn't have suited anyway. "This hotel is really run down. Needs a coat of paint & major overhaul. Nothing looked like the pictures. The location is great & the front desk staff are wonderful. So, at least it has that going for it. Breakfast quality was disappointing. Some random buzzer was being tested the 1st morning & woke our young grandkids up. No warning on the buzzer at all. "

"I had many thoughts about a hospital hotel. How far from the hospital and would it really be as nice as it looks. Well it was better than expected and the bonus was how it was part of the hospital, we had come by bus / train and so easy to find. Just ask people if you get stuck, bus driver was great. Food, we ate from the dinning room, very reasonably priced and good quality food. We enjoyed the pool too. I would say, a sign at the hospital entrance would be good. As we did get anxious about...
