"Very conveniently located to Loch Lomond & the highlands. The staff (Alistair, Faith, & George, to name a few) were professional, friendly, and accommodating. The dining room was bright & neat & clean. The food was very nice and there was a wide variety to choose from for dinner. This is an older hotel, but everything worked. The soundproofing was excellent! Could not hear the motorway or people in adjacent rooms or in the hallway, even though the hotel was full."

Although my meal on the first night was tasty it didn't include any protein. There were no vegan wines available but they kindly let me bring some vegan wine I had in the car in to have with my meal. "I booked this hotel for a stay for my husband’s birthday, thinking the price would be worth the experience. I was wrong. Pre-arrival was promising from the reservations team wanting my partners name to personalise the stay and I also booked a room upgrade and some cupcakes for the room on arrival. We took our dog and to be honest I he had a better time than we did. The upgraded room 304 with balcony was very nice I must admit. With a nice view of the loch. There was a nice bed, bowls and treats...

The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi.
