"The hotel, room and bathroom were all very nice. The breakfast spot attached to the hotel was great. The only complaint is that the hotel itself borders the bad side of town. I left one morning and came across used drug paraphernalia 100’ from the front door (at another property). I would still stay there again for the price and considering how nice it is. "

"Excellent parking. I was surprised to return to my room and find the rooms are cleaned daily and new towels. The area is great for dining and very safe to walk around. Staff was very helpful. The trip was to support my granddaughter having surgery at UCSF Benioff. Driving to the hospital on 16th or 17th was recommended -it was a straight shot. Thanks for the excellent recommendation. "

"Overall The Grove was a great stay. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean/comfortable & their check in/check out is simple. I appreciate that they offer luggage drop off & they also had our room ready a hour sooner than check in. Street parking is difficult to find but I was able to get a spot after doing some loops. I would stay here for my next visit."

"Such a fun one-night staycation at the legendary Phoenix Hotel. Cool sexy room, warm dip in the iconic pool and fun in the courtyard with friends. With the history of the Phoenix and being a local musician, it had a lot of meaning to stay there. I hope someone keeps it going in January! "

"SO COZY! It was all decorated for Christmas and was beautiful. We didn't see any ghosts but still had a great stay with all the ambience. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was good. It was close to the F line. Parking was in a lot across the street and said it was under surveillance. We had a great time!"

"When we arrived a group of carolers were singing in a room near the front desk, which was a nice surprise. The gentleman at the front desk, Dhali, was so helpful, kind, and funny. He made the check-in truly a pleasurable experience, and offered us a bottle of wine. All the staff we interacted with were so lovely and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was really tasty. We had the lasagna and the pappardelle and were very happy with both. The room was clean, quiet and warm. We would happily stay...
