"It’s essentially a motel and you get exactly what you pay for. It’s well situated in the city. I stayed on one of those weeks where there was a convention and my usual hotels are ridiculously expensive, Symphony was exactly what the doctor ordered. On a weekend with overpriced hotel rooms I would stay here again. Clean. Safe. Affordable all the time."

"The Grove Inn was great for a quick trip into San Francisco. Close enough to the area. Be mindful it is San Francisco and the streets are definitely full of hilss. If you can walk, everything is close enough. If you can't, Ubers are always available. The hotel itself was clean and secure with the charm of the Victorian Homes that are known for the area. "I loved my stay, the staff was super helpful (cleaning staff.) It was a decently sized room with a bay window and such a cute aesthetic. I was able to reach out to customer service easily, and had very few issues. The proximity to Dolores park and being able to uber everywhere was also a plus. Only downside is the drug abuse happening on the street but that’s pretty much every downtown."

"I love the brand experience. Standard and funky accords the world. I would not stay in these rooms with another person though unless you are only using the room to sleep. It’s really small. Perfect for a solo not for a couple. Sad they had to be acquired by Marriott. Hope they are able to keep their unique style and not get flattened by corporate. Will def stay again in San Francisco and elsewhere. Great location."

"I was disappointed with my stay. The alarm clock in the room was already set and went off unexpectedly in the morning, even though I never touched it. Parking was an additional $90, which felt excessive. I also paid extra for a room with a view, but the view was very disappointing and not what I expected. "I had a lovely stay at Hotel Kabuki. Staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was a breeze. The room was super comfortable, decorated nicely, and had a great city view. The only minor observation is that the desk was very worn, with the stain scratched off the places where you have the most wear. The location is excellent; I appreciated being in a central location with easy travel to other parts of the city. There's tons of shopping and dining nearby or an easy walk away."
