"The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom."

Hoping for another corner room on a higher floor [than 1] we were shown alternative rooms that were smaller. Additionally the pillows were stained with red juice or wine. Considering the newness of the hotel more was expected. The front desk manager, Ebony was firm and proactive with training she’ll be a great. However the hotel could do better should be better...

"The Royal Hotel is an excellent place to stay in Georgetown. The restaurant on site serves hot breakfast that includes chicken sausages, and items to make a cheese taco. There's lomein, a variety of fruits and vegetables for a picky eater. The room is clean, bed is firm and comfortable. I will continue to stay at this place as long as the standards are kept high"

"First off, the hotel itself is good, clean and quiet. The security guard at night was very friendly, kind and caring to us. The front desk staff were very rude and disrespectful. They should not be working there or even talking to customers. They have attitude problems and thinks we owe them. This hotel is highway robbery. "Front desk staff are amazing! That being said, this property should not be opened during this time! During my entire stay from 6/22/26-6-30/26, the hotel had major renovations happening. I’m talking hammer drilling from 8 am to 6 pm, that is heard all throughout the building and in my room. I tried speaking to management but they kept ignoring me. This is not how a business is run! You Guys need to close 592 until this work is finished! You can not have guests staying there while you do this...
