"Fabulous cabins, great sun exposure (but shade if desired) and perfect continental breakfast. The staff couldn’t be friendlier! The only rub is dog related. Very dog friendly but there are only 3 dog cabins and $100 fee…pretty extreme for one night. There is literally zero additional cleaning involved and I doubt the cleaners get it anyway. Additionally, dogs can’t be left in the room unattended. I think a pet damage deposit would be more appropriate, but I don’t own the place. Will probably...

"A colleague of mine recommended Stavrand and so I booked it as a birthday getaway-- it was PERFECTION! Everything I wanted and more! This might just need to be an annual tradition. The only flaw was the alarm on our bedside clock going off at 6am(!) BUT I have to say, if that hadn't happened I wouldn't have gotten to sip coffee downstairs in a cozy nook while reading my book and gazing at the foggy redwoods out the big beautiful windows. So I can't complain! We will be back. "

One of the biggest benefits is the restaurant across the street and the inclusion of breakfast was great. The restaurant is good and it sits right on the bay. "My son and I had a great time staying here. Staff was nice and helpful. The tents are a good size, clean, and beds are comfortable with heated blankets. Nice big clean pool. It was nice to have our own fire pit to roast S’mores. Some other reviews I read were saying the bathrooms were bad but I really didn’t think so. This property is beautiful and we will definitely be back again. "

But the rest of the hotel was in degraded condition, like missing serious maintenance. All the outdoor furniture was old and rusty.
