"The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! "

"The property is beautifully situated on the hill overlooking the bay. I enjoyed sitting on our patio and taking in the views. The landscaping could be trimmed back to maximize the view. Room was comfortable, could use some paint touch-up. Only major issue we discovered in the morning was the lock to the patio didn’t work at all."

"If you want to try glamping this is a nice location to do it. The area is far enough away to be rural with only a few blocks walk to downtown and great places to eat. One recommendation I would have for the location. Is to go over the rules of the property with everyone and provide a phone number when there is an issue. "We had an incredible weekend at Timber Cove. We brought our 2 month old on her first trip away from home. We loved being able to walk the trails and take her down to the Great Room and restaurant for our meals. It was so serene and peaceful. The staff was excellent and the room was sparkling clean with immaculate ocean views."

"It was not what we expected because of the photos on the website. The views are pretty nice and the room and bathroom were clean. But the rest of the hotel was in degraded condition, like missing serious maintenance. All the outdoor furniture was old and rusty. The swimming-pool was horrible, the bottom was green because of the scaling paint and it was not appealing at all. "
