"Great location, right at Times Square. The room was clean, and the service was very good.

* You have to wait a long time for hot water in the shower.
* The noise level in the room was unacceptable. The window was paper-thin, and the lower half was filled with an air conditioner built into some particle board. "Great location. Multiple subway stations within 5 minutes. Easy pick-ups for ride share. We had first floor unit and was very quiet. Everything you need for your stay no further than 10 minute walk."

"The check in was clunky
The reason seemed to be we didn’t get the check in code without paying another $100 AFTER the booking was charged. I originally thought this was a nonrefundable deposit, but it is not. It is an additional $100 on top of the fees already paid through Expedia. I didn’t fight it at the time because New York was busy and we had landed and needed a place to go.
But this definitely felt like I was being scammed
Wi-Fi was really weird - a guy had to come to the room three...
