Featuring a cozy interior, a private hot tub, and space for up to four guests, this home in Gearhart is a great place to stay next time you need a beach getaway!

Nestled right up against the Gearhart Golf Links, and just a leisurely 15-minute walk from easy beach access, this home is close to everything this wonderful town has to offer. You could also drive your car right out onto the sand via 10th Avenue, grab lunch at one of the restaurants, or drive just south to the much larger Seaside. In Seaside you will find an aquarium, a fun downtown shopping area, and popular beaches with easy access points.

With two bedrooms and one bathroom, this home can sleep up to four guests. While you're here you will enjoy plenty of entertainment options, including WiFi access, cable TV, a DVD player and selection of movies, and board games that you're welcome to borrow. There's even a laundry area that will come in handy after a few days of playing on the beach.

Inside, you can nestle in the cozy living room, congregate at the dining room table, or use the full kitchen to whip up tasty home-cooked meals. The two bedrooms each contain a soft and warm queen-size bed, and there's an additional sofabed in the living room for more sleeping space.

Outside, you will have a lovely deck area where you can enjoy the fresh sea air. Best of all, there's a private hot tub tucked away for your use.

This home is a great place to bring your family or a few close friends to enjoy a relaxing beach getaway. You will enjoy the quiet neighborhood setting, nearby access to golf and the beach, and everything else that this exciting region has to offer.

Great weekend getaway location

Great location, close to the beach and the golf course. Cozy and perfect for the weekend. Lots of room to cook and the hot tub was terrific. Nothing fancy, just what we were looking for. Would definitely go back.

A piece of my heart

From check in and response time to anything was amazing. The place is charming small cottage down a quiet road. Everything was well stocked. Although we had found some weird stains on the bedding provided for us. And an ant problem, which was at this time of year is not surprising. The communication between us and the owner was fast and swift!! You cant find response times like that very often!! The hot tub worked and was quite nice after long walks. Close to town and other tourist attractions. Even with small little things this place knocked it out of the books for calm and serene. I would most definitely come back to this charming house. It was in my VRBO experience a wonderful stay. The plus was reading the history of the house past occupants.

Very nice

Really. Nice and relaxing. But the bath sink drain needs to be cleaned really slow, the 2 large burners on the stove need to be replaced. Other than that really enjoyed staying here

Quite a traditional vacation rental with its simplicity. A place to be comfortable and “at home” while away from home. As it says…Grandmas cabin. Exploring the neighborhood felt quiet and quaint.

Great stay

The only issue my dad and guest had was checkin had issues with key and key box. You guys were great walking them through it. Then at checkout same issue they said the place was very clean and they had a great time. Thank you. I'm just the middle man lol

Had to. Check in 21/2 hours late due to owner leaving late. Not nice. House very dirty upon arrival but housekeeper did an excellent job. Host replied first day after that..,zero response.

Never again

This house should not be on any rental app. I had to come to town for softball on the busiest weekend of the year so I was limited on options. This house has cute pictures and was enough space. This house was absolutely awful. The hot tub was cold and full of pine needles with no power. The bathroom was dirty (housekeeping forgot) complete with mouse poop and dirty rags hanging on the wall and in the shower. The entry way floors were unswept. There were no screens on the windows to open them and air out the stench of the house- that valley mildew smell...which also meant that the mosquitoes & spiders got in. The ceiling is caving and soft. What looks like blood splatter on the ceiling in the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen fan is broken. The ceiling is falling down by the wood stove. The wall inside a bedroom is exposed drywall missing pieces and black rot in it. Seriously, I have been asking for a refund since the first 10 min here and Vacasa had absolutely nothing available to move us to. I would have rather camped than stay in that house. Skip it.

Great location.

The location of this project is great, however, the unit is showing it's age. I know it's an older house, with a great story behind it, but there are portions that need some TLC. Fold out couch in living room, didn't close all the way, so it was not terribly comfortable to sit in. Only about half of the jets on the hot tub actually worked, and the control panel was so faded you had to just start pushing buttons. I tried reaching out to the contact number about some questions, such as heater controls and didn't hear back with any method to turn it on.

Comfy Homey Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our Oregon Coast honeymoon destination. Vacasa called me to inform that the hot tub and dryer were out of service, which did not impact our stay as we had fun in Gearheart and the surrounding neighborhood towns. The Gearheart beach is a 10 minute walk from the house, great locstion to explore. This place is also close to Astoria, Seaside, and Cannon Beach. We had a great time doing the Astoria Riverwalk on our way into town, but our favorite activites were walking along Cannon Beach and exploring Downtown Seaside, both filled with fun various family filled activities. The home is as described in the pictures for real life. The shower in the bathroom is fairly small, but still comfortable. The cabin was very clean upon our initial arrival, and this would be a great place for couples, small families with children, or even individual travelers. We will definitely considering staying at this place if we decide to return to the Oregon Coast on vacation again.

Gearhart Getaway

This cozy cottage fit our family needs. It’s not close to the beach but a nice walk on the Ridge Path into town. The place has a step up to the bedrooms and to the kitchen. The wood burning stove has a surround that sticks out and it’s easy to trip. Other than that we were very pleased with our choice and had a good stay.

Dumpy little cottage

It was kind of a dump the floors were soft and sagging and the appliances didn't work that great and when we got there we couldn't figure out the cable TV and there was spider webs and spider eggs all over the outside of every window it was clean and the hot tub was great

Perfect launch pad

Very enjoyable property, great quiet location but right around the corner from a vast beach, and two local coffee shops. We saw some elk walking near the beach. Amazing sunset.

Easy access to property..

Fun time at the cottage.. Hot tub control instructions a little vague..but very lovely..Location close to Cannon Beach and lovely beach options!! Would recommend this to folks. Trish M.
