"Property is about $5 cab ride from airport, it's close but not right next to the airport which reduces noise and traffic, however not necessarily the greatest neighborhood as there wasn't much to do around the area. Hotel is big and had to walk a long way to the room. Room was clean and great but the desk was as scratched up so not sure how often they replace things. Staff were helpful but some seemed disinterested or annoyed. Breakfast area is small and Buffett seemed lacking so we didn't...

"We were upgraded to a suite on the top floor. Staff were friendly. We only stayed one night as we had an early flight the next morning, so we didn't get to try the breakfast. The airport shuttle was efficient and the driver was helpful in pointing us toward departures."

"Talk about convenient, literally a three minute walk from the train station. Nice rooms with AC, staff is super friendly, a nice bar area. I wish they had a pool but don’t. Highly recommend. "

"Basic comfortable stay near the Lisbon airport. The hotel in general feels dated and the rooms are quite dark. But the rooms are generously sized so that was nice. And the hotel is only 5 minutes from the airport. Decent restaurant too. I don’t recommend unless you really need to stay very close to the airport."

"No instructions for the room amenities. We didn’t know if the water was free and had to ring 5 times for someone to answer. We then found the seal for the water was already broken. When the person next to you in the bed moved the whole bed rocked. There was music playing outside until 11pm. Someone tried to get in our room at 5am. Had a very bad night sleep."

"Old school luxury. Pool was lovely and comfortable. Wish they did poolside service, but otherwise it was great. Amazing breakfast buffet. Lovely escape for couples or a solo traveler. Will go back!"

"The hotel is on the river and has amazing views. The included breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately we experienced several items within our room that didn’t work or were in bad repair - broken AC, water pipes that “screamed” when having a shower and frayed rugs. For a 5 star hotel with a 5 star price tag I expected a flawless and enjoyable experience. Very disappointed with this hotel."

"The original building is stunning and a walk into the past. It is filled with antiques and other beautiful ornamentation. However, The new wing of the hotel where most guests stay , is now 25 years old. It is in need of refurbishment. Still, the rooms are large, clean, with lovely traditional furnishings.
