"Really nice property with a nice restaurant connected to it. Friendly staff. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because housekeeping entered my room without knocking. On the day of checkout, (which is at 11am) housekeeping knocked on my door at 8am, waking me up from my sleep. I work at a hotel and we always knock at least 3 times before entering a room and we never knock on a door before 11am. My only complaint."

"The property itself is great! Clean rooms and very friendly staff. It should be known that walking with luggage from Waverly station is possible but difficult given the hilly terrain. Also, there’s a club just down the street that is open late every night, and it’s quite noisy. Not a deal breaker, especially if that’s what you’re looking for, but good to be aware of!"

"The hotel is probably priced as a cheap option but it is anything but! It’s about a 15 min walk to the city. 2 modern art galleries on its doorstep and a scenic walk from the river leith. As for the actual hotel it’s amazing!! From management to housekeeping,maintenance and front of desk and obviously the bar staff 😊 are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life and they go out and there way to help. Can’t thank them enough for making me feel loved "
