Went in the gym, water dispenser broken, TV remote didn't work, 1 treadmill broken 1 working, cross trainer broken otherwise ok The suite I booked wasn't a suite it was a cottage away from the hall and facilities didn't really feel part of it. facilities were ok and very spacious but I would have taken a normal room in the hall if I'd known I'd say 3* was enough for...

"A friendly hotel just off the M1 and within easy distance of Hardwick Hall"

"The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. "The Manor House hotel is located in the centre of Dronfield, in itself a fascinating ex steel town. The hotel has a long history and has been well maintained. My room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was also clean and well looked after. Breakfast was of a very good standard. Staff were attentive at all times. I was very pleased to stay at the Manor House hotel."

"no complaints just our room stunk of cigarettes"

"Beautiful location. The views of the countryside were amazing. Food was great. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed dinner there every night."

"Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house. We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible. There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. "

"Great location, clean rooms."
