"The staff was very welcoming. But the rooms are old and not everything was clean (hair in the shower, coffee stains on the wall, etc.). First room I got,102, is a special needs room, I guess that was the only one available. After the first night I started getting headaches because of a very strong musty smell. Luckily I could switch rooms and everything was fine."

"The Olde House was quite a surprise and seemed very popular with local people and seemed busy whilst we stayed there for three nights. The Carpark was enormous and during the day was being used by people learning to drive motorcars. Inside the building had many levels to choose from, where to sit. Our bed-room was a good size although the bathroom did not have any grab handles around the bath/shower tub. "Booked in and couldn’t even book in for the spa as it was fully booked because of a wedding. No email sent suggesting I needed to book. I only wanted to use the sauna. Lots of other people complained about the same thing. "

"I have stayed at the Peacock a few times now as the location is stunning and the rooms never fail to disappoint. They are clean and the bathrooms always have the wow factor. The food in the restaurant is also great, the only downside was the service, we didn’t get our wine for over half an hour and had to ask three times for it from different staff. However I will be back again! "

"Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations."

"The room was clean, Staff excellent, Bar fully stocked, Wifi good. Room was very small 10foot wide 20foot long, bed very soft, no good for people with back problems. Advertised as B&B cleaner had to get manager in to do breakfast which was basically a bacon sandwich. No breakfast the following day even though it was the chef who let us out of building!"
