"Our party consisted of 4 couples. We were a lot to cater for at dinner and yet the team looked after us for the two nights absolutely brilliantly. Best customer service I have seen in a very long while. In addition the rooms were well laid out, spacious and really comfortable, and the cooking was first class. Terrific stay in all respects. "We had planned a walk in the peaks and a visit to Chatsworth house. This hotel is fantastic. The price was great, the staff really friendly and the breakfast was amazing! "The guys at reception gave a warm welcome and helped with the bags to our room. Room was basically fine however the kettle could have done with a better clean. Decoration of the room was a little tired, but probably fine for most guys. The full English Breakfast was very good, well cooked and quality produce. My wife is gluten free, so had no alternatives such as porridge. Made do with some bacon and egg. The evening meal was also very good, but with a busy restaurant, service was a little slow....

"Very friendly welcome and a lovely room. The staff were so helpful and the cooked breakfasts were excellent. But the DJ night didn't finish at 11 as the in-room message said it would (midnight, then bar noise for another while) ; the fire alarm went off the next night (quickly cancelled so clearly accidentally) but then you could hear furniture being moved around in the bar/cafe in the small hours... I guess for cleaning. I'd recommend taking earplugs. "

"Las primeras semanas de una estancia larga me dieron una habitación “normal”, muy cómoda, limpia y confortable. En el momento que el hotel tuvo un aforo elevado me cambiaron a una habitación antigua, con una moqueta que distaba mucho de “limpia” y una cama que no solo no es cómoda si no que te rompe la espalda. A mayores, pago un desayuno que me cobran a 18 €/día y un café cappucino no está incluido. Esta claro que están realizando una mala gestión por parte de alguien."
