"We stayed at Broadhay Cottage for 2 weeks on our holday from New Zealand. It was our home from home. Spotlessly clean and organised. We had everything we needed. Claire and Andrew we're fantastic hosts. The home is Private and quiet. We will miss the pheasants roaming around at our window, rabbit's, squirrels and sheep. "Nice quirky barn conversion and on a working farm if you like that sort of thing. Not well signposted and accessed by a farm track I wouldn't like to negotiate in winter. "We had a lovely three night stay at Lancaster Cottage to see out 2025. The cottage was so welcoming and cosy - exactly what we were looking for. The decor and interiors really add to the atmosphere and make it feel like a home away from home. Katie has truly thought of everything, from games to all the helpful information you might need in the guest manual. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lancaster Cottage and would love to return."

"We stayed a couple of nights. The cottage was comfortable and clean. Wi-Fi was excellent. Cell coverage was patchy but that was no surprise as we had been warned about this. I am 6'7" and did have trouble with the low doorways on occasion - especially when returning from the excellent pub just down the road.Be aware that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through the other bedroom - so if you want a little privacy that may be an issue. "Property said pet friendly but when you got there said no dogs upstairs, not good when you have a dog with separation anxiety. Didn't find out until che k in details came through that there was no parking on the street the house is on. House was dirty. Tried to use hoover, it was totally blocked and not usable, had a broom but no dustpan so couldn't even do any cleaning of floors while there."
