"Beautiful elegant cottage, wonderful ambiance and surrounded by incredible scenery. Equipped with everything you could think of and more. Owners super helpful and friendly.Pool a bonus, brilliant to chill after visiting the local beauty spots some of which are practically on the doorstep.The only downside - we only had 3 nights. Hope to visit again at sometime."

"Gorgeous cottage, clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of places around to visit and lots of lovely restaurants. Bakewell is a lovely town, lots of shops and eateries. Highly recommend Chatsworth house, the gardens are amazing. Had gorgeous meals at the Derbyshire arms, just a short walk from cottage and the Chakra lounge, a beautiful vegan/vegetarian Indian with gluten free options in Bakewell. "

"Apartment very well appointed, very comfortable . Communication with the host was excellent , we had a slight problem and couldn’t get the tv to work which she soon sorted out. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it ."

"We came to Matlock with the kids and grandkids from Canada, to show them their roots! The house was just perfect. A perfect spot for family and friends to visit, and we were within walking distance of shops, pubs, and a park. Daniel was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time, and it was hard to leave!"

"A gem of a property, with such stunning views and a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, it really is the perfect spot for a break. Close to hiking options and the local town, the host is really lovely and accessible if you have questions. Will definitely be returning! "

"I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! Everything self contained and so comfortable, wanted to take the large mattress home! Iron 4 poster bed, kitchenette with coffee maker and milder frother for cappuccino! "I recently stayed at Hathersage, Hope Valley, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The accommodation is beautifully and have spacious rooms that blend historic charm with modern comfort. All rooms were spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the rainfall shower was a real treat after long walks. Fully equipped kitchen with some nice welcoming treats.The location is ideal—just in the middle of the Hope Valley and plenty of other hiking routes. There are couple of nice dining places...

"Thanks for the lovely 1 bedroom flat near the main park in Matlock. It was super clean and the host kept in touch when we had questions. The parking space was too small for our rentalSUV but we managed to find street parking each night. We would definitely come back. "

"Bradwell is a great location for visiting the Peak District: it's close to many of the popular hikes, but it doesn't feel overrun with other tourists. The house was very well set up and comfortable. "

"Really happy with our stay in Furness Vale.The communication and information from Andy was great.Short drive to most of the peaks and Buxton.The walk along the canal path to New Mills was very pleasant.The cottage was very homely and comfortable and a great place to head back to after a long day walking.Definitely stay there again.
