My husband and I came to visit for a couples get-away and to run the Smokey Mountain Half Marathon put on by Vacation Races. "All the staff were very friendly especially the lady the prepared breakfast. She was a delight to talk to. Only problem we encountered was finding the place. Your address does not work with my gps or Waze."

"Cabin was clean and had a very peaceful, serene vibe with ample parking. I enjoyed the observation deck and having gorgeous mountain views. The location was perfect too, only about a 10 minute drive to Great Smoky Mountains NP. I was in town to run the Black Bear Double (5K and half) and the race expo and finish line were even closer. I highly recommend this location for your stay in Townsend!"

"I don’t usually write reviews but thought I should for this one. This hotel is in a small town so I had to take that into consideration. The hotel room was ok. Very dated. The sign to the pool was still up but pool was covered with concrete. Loved the rocking chairs outside. The bathroom was dirty. Hairs in the tub. Brushed teeth with water that didn’t get cold. The breakfast was alright. No water. Told that I could get water out of fountain. Saw bugs on our dresser. Looked like fleas."

"The property is close to the airport. it's clean, but only some staff are friendly. I said some, because one who was in the front desk early in the morning the day I checked out . I had asked for a shuttle to take me to the airport. I did not like his attitude because apparently I should have reserved the time to be picked up. He was not helpful at all. He could have offered an alternate way to get there, in case I don't get picked up, he just shrugged it, The shuttle service is a third...
