"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. "Loved old inn. Staff went over and above to be helpful,dog even had sausage gor breakfast. I found out no lift Expedia said couldn't ca cel without losing my money,when I told them this they said not a problem they would have returned it,again thanks for nothing Expedia. Staff so helpful and helped to get up to bed. Food was to die for had evening meal,lovely fresh cooked menu and breakfast again fabulous. Would recommend and would go again in spite of no lift!"

"We had a wonderful stay and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again."

"Much better than last time I stayed, Not the best of hotels, but the that is reflected in the price you pay. Mainenance is also quite poor with several light fittings in my room not working."

"Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !"

"From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days"

"Like the location, easy to get around the costwolds. The staff were nice and polite. Didn’t like the bed at all! 2 nights of bad sleep. The mattress was very uncomfortable. The door to our room was very difficult to secure, the lock not working properly. Continental breakfast was good and plenty of choices."

"We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location."

"It was great being out in the beer garden in the hot weather. Staff were super friendly/helpful! Room was very clean. Only negative feedback was the shower pressure in Room 8 wasn't particularly strong so hard to rinse hair, plus shower head is fixed to wall which didn't help. Will be back"

"Quite old establishment. Unlucky day for me the Floors/carpet were not vacuumed that day, i could see and smell it. To make it worse the clean new linen was placed on those dirty floors by the cleaning staff who change out the linen - make beds in the morning. Explains the hairs i found on my freshly made bed."
