"Probably going to be hard to beat for the price. We just needed a place to sleep for the night. It was clean and had been updated inside the room. The hotel is what I would call a "retro" style. If you are expecting the modern multi level inside hotel, its not that. But seems to be in a decent neighborhood from what I could tell, and even though we weren't there for the beach, it is basically across the road. "It’s an older property as fast as HI’s go but still clean and comfortable. Even better, the staff were great! Bryan at the front desk is someone I remembered from a stay at the HGI in Chesapeake - top notch. Karen hosted breakfast and sang softly to the soundtrack. I had my headphones and YT music but didn’t need them. People make the difference and this team rocked it! Don’t hesitate at all to stay at this one "
