"We stayed at Shade for one night with our 6 month old baby. The room was spacious and has a great marina view. We loved the bath tub on the balcony which we were able to enjoy after our baby fell asleep. They provided a crib, some bathing supplies, and a cute robe for our baby. "Great spot for surfing"

"This is your basic motel: nothing special — small room; refrigerator didn’t work well; shower drain didn’t drain well; looked like some Tilex could be used. Blackout curtains were nice. A/c blew cold — it was loud, but I consider that white noise. 🙂 No soap in room so I had to go back to front desk to get some. Towels were clean. Small parking lot, so I parked on the street. Nothing special — again, a typical(?) motel room."

"I have stayed here a half a dozen or more times. Always very comfortable. We had a suite and it was big and roomie, but this mattress was so unbelievably hard that we left a day early. We have always had a comfy bed but this particular room is was too hard for us."

"Inexpensive room with microwave and fridge but the room was missing half of the trim around all the baseboards. You can tell where a dog chewed half of the trim off and they just left it as is. Holes in the wall were dry mudded, but was never touched up or painted.The door had been busted in and they did not replace the trim.So it did not lock properly, did not feel safe."

Water pressure was weak as if in another country, The room key does not work for the pool. You need to turn in the room key to exchange for a pool key while you use the pool then go back and get your room key to go back to your room. For the price, totally not worth. No hand soap upon arrival. TV remote did not work, I had to go get a new one. No...
