I’ve never been charged that much in check in ever and that was a huge surprise that I didn’t appreciate, def I would recommend to find a way to tell the guest before booking that they wil be charged that much. "If you want to listen to a dog barking day and night this is the place for you . We barely checked in and asked about the neighbors dog and were told they would move us but then ghosted us. There are permanent tenants in the adjoining apt that have dogs and they are allowed to bark without any repercussions. This is not a relaxing property at all. "Our stay at Hacienda Encantada was incredible. The property is gorgeous. Our first morning, we went to the breakfast restaurant where the staff seated us near edge of the balcony in hopes that we may get to see some whales in the water below. Sure enough, as we were enjoying our breakfast we spotted several whales breaching the water. My kids' jaws just about hit the floor"

"The rooms and food were great. The service was very ok. At Comal the food was very slow and they never checked in for drink orders or to fill waters. Not a great experience for a 300 dollar dinner. Same thing at breakfast. The pool service didn’t clear chairs when people left. The service got better towards the end but overall was disappointing for the price. One and only or las Ventanas are much better places to stay. "
