"Sarah & Marc met us as we arrived with a drink & a chat to welcome us. The room with en-suite was beautifully decorated, clean & quiet. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. "This is a nice hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which really stood out. Dinner was excellent but on the pricey side. The cost of the room was also a little higher than I would have expected. Overall I rate the hotel as 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars if the room rates had been a little lower."

Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am. The second weekend was faultless- thoughtful guests same excellent staff Clientelle interesting, staff incredibly professional and kind. "Everything you could ask for. Easy and welcoming at check-in. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean and well appointed rooms. An excellent breakfast, couldn’t fault it. Also a great location, just 50mtr from the train station and bus stop."

"When i checked in the people were so welcoming and friendly, close to the city centre of so easy walkable to the pubs and shops. My room was a decent size for 1 person, nice and comfortable, the only issue i can think of is the bathroom was a little small and hot water took quite a while to come through, Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, i will definitely stay again if I come back to Torquay."
