@huntervalleycountryescapes Maranda Country Estate is a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom Australian Colonial property with traditional Bullnose Verandah to the front and rear, and provides private comfortable accommodation for 8 to 16 guests, and welcomes pets. Maranda Country House is set on three private acres and boasts a refreshing pool and a private screened four-person outdoor hot tub with beautiful countryside views.The accommodation comprises of five bedrooms; two queen and three king bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms are in the main house with two bathrooms, and the other bedrooms are made up of two self-contained studios adjacent to the main house.
The Garden Studio One has a king bed and double sofa bed (sleeps 3-4), a full bathroom, TV, tea and coffee making facilities plus reverse cycle air-conditioning. The Garden Studio Two has a king bed (or two king singles) and a queen size hotel quality sofa bed, separate toilet, reverse cycle air conditioning, a small kitchenette plus large LED TV.
Maranda Country Estate has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room, two separate outside entertainment areas (one with BBQ), all with views over the hills and ranges. Designed for group enjoyment, the property has a huge 50inch TV in the main lounge room and a further three TVs in the bedrooms, Chromecast TV, free NBN WiFi, book library, sporting equipment such as cricket, Petanque, Finska and board games. With reverse cycle air-conditioning, separate heating in all bedrooms, ceiling fans and a wood burning fire - it is the perfect retreat all year around. You can kick back with your favourite wine and enjoy the ambience.
Maranda Country Estate is located minutes from cellar doors and restaurants; including Krinklewood, Winmark, Margan, Talits, Kawal Rock Distillery and plenty more. For a more laid back approach, Mount Broke Winery offers wood-fired pizzas on Friday nights and Magoonys Coffee House is open Thursday - Sunday for delicious coffee and light meals. Visit River Flats for olives, and the Broke General Store is just minutes away for all those last minute food drink supplies.
Please note that this property IS pet friendly; we permit a maximum of 2 dogs at the property at any one time. A $30 per pet fee is applicable for all bookings that include pets.

SECURITY DEPOSITA security deposit/bond of $1000.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.
OUTDOOR FIRE PITWe have a lovely outdoor fire pit that is an additional $49 includes setting it up and the wood for use. Please email if you would like to add on to your booking.
LONGER STAYSPlease contact us for a customised quote for longer stays of 3 nights and over.
NOTESA 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.
Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.
Please note, Maranda Country Estate has exterior security cameras to monitor the exterior of the home only for the protection of the property. Security cameras are commonplace at many of our rural properties. Footage is private and remains the property of the owner, and will only be used for insurance liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted in our Terms Conditions. They, in no way, are there to infringe upon the expectation of privacy of guests in these exterior areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in loss of security deposit or eviction.

Enjoyed our stay and the property was in a good location close to our wedding venue. Having bathing facilities in Studio 2 would have been preferred as it restricts the number of guests. EV charger not operating was a bit frustrating. Overall still a good property to enjoy the wine area.

Pretty little farmhouse with three bedrooms, decent kitchen and large loungeroom, dining room with lovely valley views. Enclosed balcony makes me wonder how bad the flies might get but you're surrounded by farmland. 2 single studios (one with bathroom but no fridge, one has toilet only and small kitchenette). Very clean and grounds well kept. Pleasant stay.

We had a great long weekend stay with family and friends. The property is well set up to cater for a mixed group with plenty of space. The location was great - near some lovely boutique wineries and a little out of the hectic Pokolbin area. We appreciated the owner adding a fire pit and our two dogs loved the room to runaround. The beds were good quality and really comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean.

We had a delightful stay in this gorgeous house. It had a peaceful rural outlook and the house itself worked wonderfully, full of welcoming rooms, inviting couches, comfortable bedrooms, excellent kitchen. The small wineries within minutes of the house are wonderful too. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately the check in was not great While I did receive a phone call to say the house was going to be ready at 3:15pm and that the studios were to be still cleaned due to the previous tenants leaving it In a terrible place we arrived at 3:30pm and did not get into the house until 4:30pm Studios were not ready until 5:30pm Water balloons left near the tap were all over the place and spa bath was not clean .. we proceeded to put chemicals in it to make it acceptable.. underneath bed were chocolates and toys .. Oven also was a bit smoky so would suggest getting someone to look at it Overall we loved the views and the house was big enough for us and we still had a great time but for the money we paid and to not be settled in until 6pm did put a downer on the the first day

Maranda Country Estate has one of the best backyard views for an accommodation. It's really convenient, equipped with many facilities, with a breathtaking view that will make it difficult for travellers like us to leave the place. I would be really happy to have another chance to rent it again in the future.

It’s a lovely property and we’ve stayed a few times previously and always loved our visits. The property is well equipped though needs a bit of love and care inside and around the outside areas - seating is a bit shabby as is the outdoor room used to house the hot tub. We had a bit of an issue with the outdoor shower which blew while one of our group was in there so a bit of a scare with smoke and a horrid smell of burining. Dangerous thing to happen but they sent someone out within the hour who was able to assess and fix the problem and make sure not a fire hazard.

Comfortable home and pet friendly. We had 8 guests, 2 small dogs all together for our booking and there was plenty of space for everyone! Beautiful scenery as well! This property is also very close to a few beautiful wineries. Had a great weekend! Thank you very much.
