"The pictures of the property did not communicate clearly the location and condition of the hotel. It was set off from the street in rougher area of town. When we got to the entrance there was no one to greet us. All our check in was done via text and phone on What's App. We did not see any personnel that worked for the hotel. Instructions about getting into our room and turning on the ventilation were all via a posted video on What's App. The room was clean and the bed comfortable enough...

"Casa Villa Gardenia is a very easy taxi ride from the airport station, which we did after a long flight, and also easily walkable, which we did to get to Venice. Our host was AMAZING -- follow his recommendations (grazie mille, Federico!). The building and rooms felt secure and hold old world charm in decor and accomodation. The breakfast is top notch, with a wide array to choose from, everything very fresh and presented beautifully. I would stay here again! "
